Reasons to Visit the Eugenio Lopez Center Right Now

I was given the opportunity to visit the new events center in the East of Metro Manila, the Eugenio Lopez Center (ELC). It was located in Antipolo City, Rizal. The ELC is owned and operated by the First Philippine Realty Corporation. It was one of the many legacies of the late Eugenio Lopez. Previously, it was only used by the Lopez family, but ELC is now open to the public. The Eugenio Lopez Center is situated on top of a hill. That's why you will feel the fresh air when you go there.

The venue is ideal for weddings, parties, and corporate events like seminars, meetings, and team-building. They have their own different function rooms for those activities.

The event center has 38 guest rooms: 3 suites, 24 twin-sharing, and 11 triple-sharing rooms; good for staycations with your friends, loved ones, and family. Deluxe rooms start at PHP 4,400, Executive rooms start at PHP 5,500, and Suite Premier rooms start at PHP 8,500. Each has their own bathroom amenities, with hot and cold showers.

And when you're in the mood for indoor games and workouts, they also have their own game room.

We had the chance to witness a group doing team building, but, of course, the main venue for that activity is located on the lower ground of the place. They have an obstacle course and a warzone there.

Swimming Pool is situated on an elevated deck. Perfect to freshen up after a long day at work.

For Catholics, they have their own chapel there.

They have their own dining and executive hall for you to enjoy your food experience.

As I'm walking to the place, I can't get over its beauty. fresh air and lush green plants and trees. I can't help myself to look at and take pictures of them. Of course, I can't take my eyes off the beauty of the sky where you can see a 180-degree view of Makati, Ortigas, and Quezon City, including Pampanga and Batangas.

CARAMOAN ISLAND

Unexpected travel in the Bicol region.

I was about to share my story of love for nature. I was invited to take a 2-day and 1-night exploration to Caramoan Island in Camarines Sur and Mayon Volcano in Legaspi, Albay. That was a very tiring journey composed of 12 hours of travelling via private SUV, but upon arriving at those destinations, all the negative energies disappeared. I also noticed during our travel that the south area of the Philippines is surrounded by lots of trees and plants compared to the north area, where you will feel at peace. From Naga City to Caramoan Island, it took a 4-hour drive via zigzag road. Imagine that you're on a very long roller coaster ride. Dizziness visited my head, but because of the fresh air, I imagined that we were climbing a very high mountain where paradise awaited us.

We arrived there at 10:30 am, and we were so hungry that we decided to have lunch. Our lunch consisted of my favorite sea foods like shrimp and kinilaw na tanigue. We also had sinigang na baboy, and that was a very sumptuous lunch for me.

After that, we just rested for a while and prepared for island hopping. I have my pictures below. By the way, I watched a movie last week entitled XXX: Return of Xander Cage, and I saw that one of the scenes there was taken at Caramoan Island. That was so great! Imagine if the great Vin Diesel went there. http://news.abs-cbn.com/life/01/23/17/review-vin-diesel-is-back-as-xander-cage-in-new-xxx-movie

At Caramoan Island

The next day, we continued our journey by going to Mayon Volcano. That was my first visit to the well-known and captivating perfect cone-shaped mountain. We took pictures with my sisters and brother. That was so amazing; lots of fun and adventure! We even bought different fruit shakes, but of course I never included siling labuyo in my buko shake. I can't imagine that I was sipping spicy drinks. A big no-no for me. I can't bear to eat spicy foods.

I hope you all imagine how beautiful our own country is! Until next time, special
thanks to my sister Michelle and her boyfriend for making my journey possible. Hugs. 😊
